Laughing Maiden

When the Splugorth raided Ehawee's village, her husband, the chief, was killed along with the village medicine man. Ehawee (Ee-ha-wee) saw how easily these invaders were killing the village braves, and she called for her people to stop resisting. Under her leadership, many of her people were spared that day, and in the captivity of Splugorth, they continued to look to her for guidance, making her the de facto elder of the tribe.

Now that her people have been freed with the help of the Shaman Wa Maka Ska O Hozi Glepi, she continues to serve as a leader and source of wisdom and experience for her tribe. The shaman tells her that they have passed through the Hunting Grounds to another world, but this new world is not so different from the one she came from. So now she focuses on finding her people a new home where they can rebuild their lives.

Wa Maka Ska O Hozi Glepi

Wa Maka Ska O Hozi Glepi

Ehawee first thought he was a spirit, but has come to understand that Ohanzee is a powerful Medicine Man that can help to guide her people to a new home.

She sees Otaktay as young and impulsive, but at least wise enough to recognize when he is out of his element. So far, their partnership has been a good thing for their people.
