Description
Fae Mien
A pretty, wilted thing with silvery-blonde hair and sad golden-brown eyes. All the make-up and beautiful gowns in the world cannot hide Anathe’s melancholy.
Mortal Seeming
To mortal eyes, Natalie is less glamorous than her fae mien—brunette hair and simpler, more casual attire—though her natural beauty still shines through her quiet sadness.
Personality
Anathe is sad a lot of the time. She feels like a beautiful bird in a gilded cage. When she is able to get out and experience the world, some joy slips back into her life. She loves her father, but he just doesn’t understand her. If only she could do something drastic to wake him up.
Background
The daughter of Sir Eiriune was born a sidhe as well. Anathe, also known as Natalie Foster, has grown up her entire life in the House Eiluned, surrounded by secrets and enigmas…and the walls that guard them.
Anathe hates the secluded life she’s been forced to lead. She has never felt at ease with all the secrecy and whispering of her house. She is a caged bird yearning to be set free. But her father is the jailer, and Eiriune is a stubborn man.
When she was sixteen, Anathe decided she’d had enough and ran away from home. She soon found herself lost and penniless on the streets of New Orleans. Within a week she was starving, and getting desperate. Her only recourse (other than returning home, which she had no intention of doing) was in a mortal man named Clay.
Clay was a man of the underworld; a provider of human services. In short, he was a pimp. He took Natalie in, cleaned her up, and put food in her belly. What he wanted in return, he didn’t ask for…he took it. She was eventually discovered by Whisp, a sluagh wilder who worked as a stripper in a club that Clay often used as a staging point for meeting clients. Whisp recognized Natalie for what she was, and began asking around (a sidhe prostitute was highly unusual). When she learned that Sir Eiriune’s daughter was missing (not that Eiriune had made it public knowledge), she determined to get the girl back to her home.
Anathe soon came to trust Whisp and the two became fast friends. In time, Whisp convinced Anathe to return home, and upon her return Sir Eiriune rewarded Whisp with Noblesse Oblige of House Eiluned.
Since then Anathe has once again become discontented with her lot in life. She finds court boring and courtiers shallow. She longs for excitement, but her father is now all the more watchful of her gilded cage.

I know father means well…and he was right about some things. But as things are, I will die of boredom long before anything in the city kills me.

Best Friend
My only friend. I'd be dead or worse if not for her. I'll make sure father takes good care of her.

Merits & Flaws
Soul of the Muse |
4 pt. Merit |
You are an inspiration to creators of all types. Whether you are artistically gifted or not, other artists find it far easier to create masterworks when you are around. If you are in the presence of any creator — whether you are acting as a model, providing counsel, or singing a song — that creator reduces the difficulty to create his work by three. This creative stimulation applies to works of wonder and destruction alike, as you inspire all. |
Weak-Willed |
3 pt. Flaw |
You’re highly susceptible to mind-altering magic, hypnosis, and intimidation by others; your difficulties to resist Social abilities such as Intimidation or Persuasion, as well as mind-altering spells, are increased by two. Your Willpower Trait may never rise above 4. |
Birthrights & Frailty
Unearthly Beauty |
Birthright |
Sidhe gain two additional dots of Presence, even if this brings that rating above 5. When they invoke the Wyrd (Changeling: The Dreaming, p. 259), this beauty becomes over-powering. If a sidhe invokes the Wyrd in the presence of a character, the player must roll Composure + Resolve (difficulty 8). If that roll fails, the character can only stare in awestruck wonder at the sidhe for one turn for each dot of the sidhe’s Presence. |
Noble Bearing |
Birthright |
Sidhe carry a quiet dignity at all times. Cantrips designed to humiliate them or make them look foolish automatically fail (that does not prevent cantrips from harming them, of course, they just don’t lose their poise when it happens). Sidhe cannot botch Etiquette or Politics rolls. |
Curse of Banality |
Frailty |
While the commoner kiths have learned to make their peace with the mortal world and live within it, the Arcadian sidhe still live with their minds and hearts in the Dreaming. As such, they are even more susceptible to Banality. Each point of Banality a sidhe would receive becomes two. |
House Boon & Flaw
House Daireann Boon |
House Daireann dedicates itself to the laws of Honor, Hospitality, and Vengeance. Members of this house receive a minus one difficulty to all rolls specifically pertaining to protecting someone under their hospitality, or when enacting vengeance against someone who has violated their hospitality. |
House Daireann Flaw |
Members of House Daireann cannot turn away someone seeking shelter or asylum, even a mortal enemy, unless the person violates Daireann’s rules of hospitality. |
